How did you decide on Copper Mountain Resort?
I had applied to a number of resorts and I just enjoyed the people that I interacted with at Copper more than at any other resort. Despite being a large resort Copper seemed to have somewhat of a small-town feel to it. It was a very welcoming environment in my experience.
Living the resort lifestyle has its challenges, what advice would you give someone choosing this career path?
Make a plan, and plan ahead. Seasons can go by very quickly and it’s important to be ready for the next step. Seek out new opportunities when you can. Lock in your next position before the season is over and before things fill up. Be ready to adapt if things don’t go as planned.
What do you like about working for Copper?
I have always enjoyed being surrounded by people that are passionate about skiing and snowboarding AND sharing it with others.
