Job Title:

Seasons at Copper Mountain Resort:
9
What do you chase?
New adventures and opportunities.
How did you decide on Copper Mountain Resort?
After college I wanted to explore what the Rocky Mountains had to offer. I visited Copper once in college and fell in love and decided it was the place I needed to be that winter. Initially, I was only planning on being here for a winter, but I couldn’t stay away! I worked seasonally for 5 years moving back and forth (Copper in the winters, Maine in the summers) until I decided to try a Copper summer. That summer is when I decided to make Copper home for the foreseeable future.
Living the resort lifestyle has its challenges, what advice would you give someone choosing this career path?
Go into every situation with an open mind and being willing to learn from it. The resort lifestyle is fast paced and fun but you need to always be on your toes and ready for the day. We work in such an amazing environment and it’s very fun and exciting when we are able to share it with our guests who visit. Not knowing the answer is okay as long as you know where to find it, so you are able to set the guest up for success.
What do you like about working for Copper?
I love the work environment Copper has created throughout the resort. I am excited to come to work and interact with all the guests who come through the door- it’s fun sharing the excitement with them. And it’s a fun place to play when you are off the clock!!
