This spring, Copper Mountain is bringing a brand-new experience to the slopes: Sunset Ski—a unique evening event that blends skiing, live music, and après under the alpenglow. With two exclusive dates—March 15th and April 19th—this is your chance to carve turns as the sun dips behind the peaks and the mountain takes on a golden hue.

What to Expect

From 4:30 to 7:00 p.m., ticketed guests will enjoy specialty access to terrain served by the American Eagle and Excelerator lifts, offering a rare opportunity to ski into the evening. But the adventure doesn’t stop there—Sunset Ski is designed to be much more than just an extended day on the mountain.

Après Elevated: Dining & Entertainment at The Aerie

The Aerie Lodge will serve as the heart of the evening, providing a warm and lively space for guests to indulge in a variety of gourmet food stations, specialty cocktails, live music and games. The menu for the night includes:

• Charcuterie Boards
• Roasted Peach Salad
• Baked Lasagna
• Braised Short Rib or Grilled Salmon
• Shrimp Gnocchi
• Fried Fish Tacos
• Pork Carnitas
• Gazpacho Soup
• Zucchini Hush Puppy

Need-To-Know Details

Tickets for the Sunset Ski events include food, one drink and specialty lift access from 4:30 to 7:00pm. A ticket for the sunset ski event does not include access to the mountain during regular operating hours. Please note that there will be no green runs available for skiing during this event. At the end of the night guests can either ski back down to the base or download via a scenic gondola ride.

• Not Included: General mountain access during regular operating hours.
• Terrain Note: No green runs will be available during the event. Guests should be comfortable skiing on intermediate or advanced terrain.
• Lift Download Option: Not up for a final run? Guests can choose to ride the gondola back down to the base area at the end of the event. You can also opt not to ski at all and just enjoy the food and music at the Aerie.
