*NEW Copper Coach Dial-A-Ride Service:

Dining in East Village, but staying in West? Legs too tired after your Snow Day to walk to your condo? Call the Copper Coach at 970-368-2002 for FREE and convenient transport to and from all areas of the Copper Community.

Copper Coach runs in the winter 8:30am to 11:00pm and summer 10:00am to 9:00pm. Please be ready when you call to verify service and place your reservation. The Copper Coach should be at your location within 20 minutes.

 

The Summit Stage

The purpose of the Summit Stage is to provide FREE scheduled public transportation and ADA paratransit service for residents and visitors to Summit County. Bus service is available to most ski areas, shopping centers, medical centers, and some residential areas in Summit County. Come in and take a look around to see what the Summit Stage has to offer you! The current Summit Stage schedule is also posted at each Stage stop.

Parking

Free Parking is available 7 days a week in the Alpine & Far East Lots*. From I-70 merge onto CO-91 S via EXIT 195 toward COPPER MTN/LEADVILLE. Proceed past Copper Road on CO-91 & follow signage for the Alpine or Far East Parking lots.

Pay Parking is available in B-Lot, Beeler, Chapel, Copper Circle, Triple Treat, Union Creek and Wheeler Lots. Prices range from $5 - $40/ day based on location.

Subaru Preferred Parking
Drive a Subaru? We would like to put you front and center to show off your ride. Copper and Subaru are offering preferred parking in select parking lots. That’s right, in the Beeler Lot and Chapel Lot the early-bird (with a Subaru) gets the worm, or better yet, complimentary parking for the day. Space is limited with (8) designated spots in Beeler and (4) in Chapel. While the Alpine Lot is always complementary, you won’t have to carry that equipment far when you park your Subaru in one of the (12) designated spots right next to the shuttle pick-up. All Subaru parking is first come, first served.


Ski and Ride School Shuttle

The Ski and Ride School snowmobile shuttle is dedicated to serving our Ski and Ride School guests, and can only stop at designated locations for the safety of all guests.  Public transportation via this shuttle is only available when not in service for Ski and Ride School Guests, and the guests must be at one of our pick up or drop off locations.  There are no stops mid-routeFor more information on our Ski and Ride School Lessons click here

The best way to get around Copper Mountain’s villages is via our free bus system with shuttle stops in East, Center, West Village, and Woodward/Green Acres.  Operating daily from 6am- 11pm 7 days a week.  For additional transportation information click here

RV Parking & Camping

Camping is not permitted at Copper Mountain. This is based upon Copper’s Land Use agreement with Summit County Government.
Lodging Guests of Copper Mountain may park their RV overnight between the Conoco and Water Treatment Center, however they are not permitted to camp (sleep in their RV).
Alternative locations to overnight camp in tents or RV’s are off property such as the Campgrounds in Frisco, Dillon or Tiger Road RV Park.


Front Range Ski Bus

Front Range Ski Bus will running trips from downtown Denver and the Wooly Mammoth Park and Ride, to Copper Mountain Wednesday through Sunday for the 2015/16 season, just $42 round trip!

Instead of dealing with traffic both up to and back from your favorite runs, let us drive. Enjoy the scenery on the way up, or read a book. Talk with your friends about your epic day on the way back, or take a nap. Leave the driving up to us, and give your brain and body a chance to relax.  Click here for more info!

 

Copper's FREE Ride

The FreeRide electric car service will run on a regular basis starting December 22nd for the 2015/2016 season. FreeRide hours are daily, from 8:30AM to 11:00AM and then again from 3:00PM to 5:30PM. The FreeRide driver can be contacted during those hours at 970-556-8687.

The FreeRide offers rides between the inner parking lots and the Center Village. Initial focus is for families with small children or anyone struggling with their gear or the elevation. Most of the rides are spontaneous but guests may schedule a pick up during operating hours by calling the above number.  The car holds 5 people and their equipment.

The FreeRide's range is typically from The Schoolhouse at Union Creek to the Chapel Lot.  The car does not go to Lewis Ranch or to the Alpine and Far East parking lots.

Airport Shuttle - Summit Express

Summit Express is Copper Mountain's official ground transportation provider, offering direct shuttle rides from DIA to Copper. Carpool

Copper Mountain has two lots for guests who choose to carpool.

Chapel Lot requires a minimum of four licensed adults per vehicle.

Triple Treat requires a minimum of three licensed adults or more per vehicle. Please note that there are no services (buses, etc.) from this lot and a Season Pass or valid lift ticket must be presented when you arrive. There are no blackout dates for Triple Treat.
