*NEW Copper Coach Dail-A-Ride Service:

Dining in East Village, but staying in West? Legs too tired after your Snow Day to walk to your condo? Call the Copper Coach at 970-368-2002 for FREE and convenient transport to and from all areas of the Copper Community. Copper Coach runs 8:30am to 11:00pm. Please call 15 to 20 minutes prior to the desired pick-up time, and to verify availability.

 

The Summit Stage

The purpose of the Summit Stage is to provide FREE scheduled public transportation and ADA paratransit service for residents and visitors to Summit County. Bus service is available to most ski areas, shopping centers, medical centers, and some residential areas in Summit County. Come in and take a look around to see what the Summit Stage has to offer you! The current Summit Stage schedule is also posted at each Stage stop.

Parking

Free Parking is available 7 days a week in the Alpine & Far East Lots*. From I-70 mergeonto CO-91 S via EXIT 195 toward COPPER MTN/LEADVILLE. Proceed past Copper Road on CO-91 & follow signage for the Alpine or Far East Parking lots.

Pay Parking is availble in B-Lot, Beeler, Chapel, Copper Circle, Triple Treat, Union Creek and Wheeler Lots. Prices range from $5 - $40/ day based on location.

Union Creek features a newly expanded Drop-Off-Zone & Pay Parking.

 * No overnight parking without a permit.

 

Denver Ski Bus

Front Range Ski Bus

Nothing dulls the excitement and adventure of a day of skiing or snowboarding like the anticipation of the long drive to and from the Front Range. Skip the daily fight with traffic, the struggle to stay awake and alert, and enjoy your mountain experience to the fullest knowing that your ride home is as easy as stepping onto our shuttle bus. Copper's FREE Ride

The FreeRide electric car service begins on November 23rd for the 2011/2012 season. FreeRide hours are daily, from 8:30AM to 11:00AM and then again from 3:00PM to 5:30PM. The FreeRide driver can be contacted during those hours at 970 556-8687.

The FreeRide offers rides between the inner parking lots and the Center Village. Initial focus is for families with small children or anyone struggling with their gear or the elevation. Most of the rides are spontaneous but guests may schedule a pick up, during operating hours by calling the above number.  The car holds 5 people and their equipment.

The FreeRide's range is typically from the School House at Union Creek to the lodging front desk at the Athletic Club.  The car does not go to Lewis Ranch or to the Alpine and Far East parking lots.
