About Copper Mountain Bootpacking

As a bootpacker, you will be volunteering in Copper Mountain’s closed terrain during the early season.  You will be expected to put in 8 hour days volunteering at 9,000– 12,000 feet hiking up and downhill.  You need to have enough food and water for a full day and will have a 1 hour lunch break on the mountain.  You need to have your own skis with releasable bindings, boots, poles, and backpack.  Avalanche beacons, shovels, and probes are required.
