The Rocky Mountain Series encompasses all disciplines of snowboarding including superpipe, slopestyle, boardercross and alpine events. Venues include the Catalyst Terrain Park, the Main Vein Superpipe, Vein Glory BX Course and Bittersweet for the Alpine Venues The USASA Rocky Mountain Series, the largest and longest running amateur snowboard series in North America, celebrates 23 years of amateur competition. Copper is the host venue for the largest amateur snowboarding and freeski event on earth - the 2010 USASA Nationals, from April 2 - 9. This year, nearly 1,600 of the top regional finishers will attend the USASA Nationals to compete against some of the best male and female athletes from around the country in slopestyle, superpipe, boardercross, slalom and giant slalom in their quest to become national champions.For the most up to date information please visit www.usasa.org
The USASA is a grassroots snowboard organization with over 5,000 members who compete in more than 500 events in 36 regional series across the U.S. Competitors range in age from 7 - 70 and represent a group of riders passionate about the sport of snowboarding. The USASA National Championships have been the final event of the season for these riders for close to 21 years.
