Copper is pleased to announce the Summit County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the major PUD amendment for Copper on August 12, 2008.

The Mountain
We at Copper Mountain are excited about the future; a future that holds much promise for all who love our mountain. Recently, after a 7-year process, in which Copper Mountain worked closely with the U.S. Forest Service, we were able to gain approval on our Environmental Impact Statement. That document, will allow Copper to embark on several on-mountain improvements in the future.

Copper is curently working with key stakeholders and community officials to build a long-term, sustainable plan focused on base area development. Together, with the help of all partners, we are striving to arrive at a plan that will drive Copper toward a succesful future.
