Scooters (Ages 4-12)

Scooter camps are specifically tailored to get your child out on the slopes, log some serious mileage on their skis/snowboard and enjoy the great white world of winter. This program focuses on quickly building the necessary skills to explore the mountain in new and exciting ways, all within a fun, safe, supervised environment.

Scooters

3 and 4 Week Ski/Ride Camps (Ages 4-12)

Our coaching staff will work on mountain awareness, balance and movement techniques that will allow your child to progress, whether just learning the sport or preparing for that challenging middle school race. If fun, friendship and progression are the ingredients for an awesome day on the slopes, then Scooters is the program for your child. Included in the program is a FREE season pass so that your child can enjoy the skills learned on the mountain all winter.

What are your goals/expectations for Scooters?

Scooters focus on skill development and mountain etiquette. Coaches use a variety of techniques to promote better balance and body awareness. This improves your child's alpine skiing or snowboarding while maintaining a fun and safe environment. In addition to lessons, the program includes a free Copper Season Pass, GPS tracking and hot lunches on program days.

The First Day

The instructors will do a “verbal split.” They will ask you and your child questions about terrain, speed, comfort zone and the last time they skied to help determine classes. From this information groups are formed based on ability, speed, stamina and goals. The school will then do an on-hill assessment with a Supervisor to ensure that each child fits into their group correctly.
