Every skier and snowboarder hopes to unlock their true potential one day. For kids involved in the Choppers program, that moment has come. Choppers instructors are dedicated to offering a truly adventurous day on the slopes, as they give specific, expert advice aimed at advancing any ability level. We can help you conquer your fear of the chairlift, tackle your first high school race, or master the double black diamonds.
A Skiing & Snowboarding Adventure for Ages 8 - 18
No matter where you are beginning, you are sure to find yourself cruising along on the road to improvement. Choppers are cool, confident, and always ready for a challenge.
Program Details
- Four or eight days of skiing or snowboarding coaching (4 Day Program only on Sundays)
- Complimentary Copper Mountain Season Pass (vaild all season long)
- Real Time GPS tracking provided by flaik for superior confidence and peace of mind
- The Copper Chopper Derby! This is an all-day geo-caching scavenger hunt with awards.
- Lift-line cutting privileges allow for plenty of slope time
- Classes for experts to first timers — every effort is made to keep friends of the same age and ability together
- Continuous adult supervision
- Optional Charter bus transportation with adult supervision provided to and from Copper Mountain

Note:
- Bus Combos: Depending on bus participants buses may "combo" with another bus, requiring a bus to have two stops.
- Closer to the program start date your child's Bus Chaperone will contact you with more information on bus details
- Be sure to ARRIVE 15 minutes before departure time! The bus cannot wait for late arrivals

Enroll Early! Registrations are accepted on a first come first served basis. Program enrollment may close earlier than above dates based on availability.
Renting Equipment
Equipment is not included. Children should have their own equipment prior to each class.
Helmets
Helmets are required for all participants regardless of age while skiing or riding in all youth lessons and programs.
Attendance
Attendance on the first day of each session is necessary to ensure your child is on the correct team for their age and ability.
Cancellations & Refunds
There will be a $25 charge for cancelling program enrollment up to 10 days prior to the program's start date, within 10 days of the program start date the cancellation charge will be $50. We do not offer refunds or make-ups for missed lessons, lift tickets or bus fare. The only exceptions are for illnesses or season ending injuries with a valid doctor's note.
Parents Please Note
Students are required to remain with their instructor at all times; we ask that you support this policy. Students who "skip" their lessons will be removed from the program, there will be NO refund given.
