Public Race Arena and Nastar

I just want to give a HUGE shout out to Craig Coombs, one of the guys who runs the NASTAR race course. Simply put Craig is one of the nicest guys I've met, and has made our NASTAR experience exponentially more enjoyable. He is unfailing kind and friendly, always has time to answer questions and provide pointers. -Greg

Copper Mountain not be running NASTAR for the 2014/15 season.

Fun Runs

If you are new to racing or just want to get your feet wet again, Fun Runs are a great place to start. A simple GS course will show you how much fun a race course can be. After a good warmup, take the next step and try a NASTAR race.



The Public Race Arena operates mid-December through mid-April (Conditions permitting). 
11:00 am to 3:00 pm, daily at the Public Race Arena on Copperopolis.(Conditions permitting)



Copperopolis Trail - Access via American Eagle and Excellerator lifts or from the Super-B.

Please note that NASTAR will close for the 13/14 season on March 21st.

NASTAR Club Races - 20 person minimum


NASTAR will be open 7 days a week, but due to safety NASTAR will occasionally be closed when weather, races or other events interfere with the safe operation of the NASTAR course. We will update the Copper NASTAR website on Mondays of each week.

Copper Mountain is open for the season!
Colorado Demo Days will take place Nov. 22nd and 23rd.
Lifts open 8:30am on weekends, 9:00am weekdays.
