NEW for Summer 2010 at Woodward at Copper
Cheer and Skate Camps
Woodward at Copper is pleased to offer Cheer and Skateboard camps for summer 2010. As far as the new Cheer Camp goes – Woodward at Copper knows you come here to learn and improve as a cheerleader, but they also know you want to have fun, make new friends and have new experiences…all in a camp setting, and it is our mission to help you realize those goals.
Like to skateboard? During a week-long Skate Camp at Woodward at Copper, you get access to morning and afternoon skate sessions in the Barn with many separate and unique skate features, skate trips to various skate parks around Colorado, as well as evening skate sessions.
Don’t be left out when all your friends are stomping their fresh new tricks. Woodward at Copper now has its very own airbag on the snow, completing the next step in the progression. Take off on a real snow wedge and land softly on 14,400 cubic feet of cushion. The airbag sessions are included in the price of Summer Camps.
Summer Weeklong Camps:
A typical day during a Woodward at Copper summer camp will include skiing on-snow at Copper’s summer version of the Catalyst terrain park in the morning (Colorado’s only on-snow summer terrain park), Barn sessions in the afternoon and evening, and many additional recreational activities including skate tours, go-carts, create-a-skate, music, rock climbing, hiking and much more. Campers will live and eat at Copper’s EDGE building, which is located right next to the slopes and right down the road from the Barn.

"This marks a new time for Copper," said Pete Woods, Director of Marketing at Copper. "We are staking our ground nationally and charging forward with a creative environment to bring the most progressive ski and snowboard learning techniques to athletes and our guests. For us, it is all about giving guests the choice to step out of their daily routines and do something different. Woodward at Copper is completely unexpected and designed to offer Copper's guests a fresh experience."
"This is the most innovative single project that Woodward has ever been involved with," stated Gary Ream, Camp Woodward's President. "Bringing more than 20 years experience in action sports to Copper's awesome mountain location will be both exciting and impacting. This new facility will provide the opportunity for snowboarders and freeskiers, both beginner and elite, to reach levels, previously unattainable. Progression now has a new timeline!"
