Steel Pulse is one of Britain's greatest reggae bands, in terms of creative and commercial success. Steel Pulse started out playing authentic roots reggae with touches of jazz and Latin music, and earned a substantial audience worldwide. They subsequently returned to a tough-minded, rootsy sound and have added touches of dancehall and hip-hop along the way. www.steelpulse.com
Copper brings back the ever-popular Sunsation Sessions – an exclusive evening performance highlighting great musical talent. The Sunsation Sessions, hosted in intimate settings, takes place on Saturday, April 10, starting at 8 p.m., with live music by Lotus. Sunsation Sessions’ performances are ticketed events in the Bighorn Room of the Copper Conference Center. Tickets are on sale now for $20 and are available online at www.CopperSunsation.com, by calling 866-677-1662, or on-site at Copper at any ticket window or Guest Services location.
Never a group to be pigeonholed, Lotus brings many musical weapons to the stage. Equal parts dance and rock, Lotus has been crafting a unique brand of instrumental rock for the past decade. The big light show and pounding beats may be club inspired, but the band’s ability to connect with the audience through emotive composition and dynamic improvisation pushes performances past the elusive barrier dividing concert and experience. http://lotusvibes.com
