Copper’s Park and Pipe team, along with the masters at SPT, have been working day and night to bring the first 22 ft Superpipe to the continent. The wait is almost over my friends. On Saturday, Nov. 28 Copper plans to open the 22ft Superpipe!*
Copper’s pipe will host the US Snowboarding Team for daily training sessions in the 22 ft pipe. The US Snowboard Team will have exclusive training times from 8:30-10:00am on weekends and 9:00-11:00am on weekdays leading into the USSA Grand Prix at Copper, Dec. 10-12.
Copper’s commitment to the progression of skiing and riding is evident in the resort’s first ever 22 ft Superpipe and Woodward at Copper, which opened March 2009. The 22 ft Superpipe will make its national TV debut during the USSA Grand Prix, Dec. 10-12, when top snowboarders from around the globe will vie for coveted Olympic spots. Watch the first Grand Prix stop at Copper on NBC Sunday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. EST.
