Thank you for your interest in Copper Mountain. We welcome you to visit so you can see for yourself what we mean by an easily accessible, world-class, playful and less complicated resort. There's a reason why Copper is consistently voted the locals' favorite and this is your chance to find out why.
Where to start/When to come Although we will certainly work to fulfill all requests to visit Copper, advanced notice is very helpful. Whether it's a quick email, phone call or a letter of assignment, the earlier we know about your plans, the better we'll be able to assist you. Also bear in mind, there are certain times (around the Christmas holidays and New Year's, Martin Luther King Weekend, Presidents' Day Weekend and most weekends in March because of national Spring Breaks) that are more difficult to accommodate and may not be available.
If you're a writer, photographer, filmmaker, editor or producer and you're working on a piece that could feature Copper, we'd like to work with you.
What we can provide during your visit:
Lift tickets – to easily access the slopes and sample Copper's 2,465 acres including the legendary Tucker Mountain area accessible by hiking or better yet, by a free ride in a Tucker Snowcat. We do hate to say "no," so we ask that you limit your requests for spouses, friends, children and significant others to only those directly involved in producing the pertinent project.
Accommodations – depending on the time of year and the scope of your project, we can also provide complimentary or discounted lodging options.
Expertise and Recommendations – let us help you coordinate your plans and ideas.
What we can't provide during your visit:
(Although we're always open to new ideas, there are a few things we cannot provide)
Snowmobile access – to keep the mountain as safe as possible we just can't provide alternate access outside of the normal chairlift service.
Exclusive use of terrain – plain and simple, this just wouldn't be fair to everyone else on the mountain and might interrupt their day on the mountain.
Commercial photography and filming guidelines Coming soon.
After your stay Please stay in touch. Should you have follow up questions or if you need further materials for you project, we're always glad to help you. We employ a number of useful tools to do so:
Resort Information – it's hard to get everything you need the first time around so let us know if you need assistance filling in the details.
Photos of Copper – we'd be glad to grant you access to our online photo library, search our archives for that unique historical shot or even work with our photographers and design team to help spread the word about Copper.
Video footage – whether it's B-roll, an edited Video News Release, or a live feed from one of our mountain cameras, we've probably got something that will help build your content.
Finally, we hope that you'll let us know when your Copper related project hits the public. We'll keep our files updated and learn more about what you need. We hope to grow our relationship with you so we can keep you informed of future story ideas and possible future visits.
