All proceeds from the event will benefit The Advocates for Victims of
Assault in Summit County, a nonprofit organization set up for women,
men and children who are victims of domestic violence and other trauma
related issues. Event organizers hope to raise money through the silent
auction, which begins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday evening at Jack’s
Slopeside Grill in Copper. Items up for auction include gift
certificates to local restaurants, ski tickets, clothing, artwork,
jewelry, vacation packages and sports gear, which have been donated by
Summit County businesses and individuals.
