Everyone will have a touch of Irish in them when Copper celebrates St. Patrick’s Day Friday, March 17, complete with a free concert from the nation’s best U2 cover band “One”, free Bono-style sunglasses, Killian’s giveaways, bonfires, and plenty of green beer.

Also at Copper through Thursday, March 16 is Captain Jack’s pirate-themed Family Carnival featuring arts and crafts, live DJ, games, magicians, clowns, balloon animals, face painting and more. The Family Carnival is free for families to enjoy from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in Copper’s Conference Center.
When the Family Carnival and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations wind down, it’ll be time to burn of some of that “fun” and make a few turns. The 3rd annual Slopetracker Challenge is Saturday, March 18 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The highest overall skill score will determine the Slopetracker Champion in the Men’s and Women’s categories, winners will be awarded an 06/07 Copper Mountain Season Pass. The registration fee is $25 per person, competitors may register in advance by calling 970 968 2318 x83377 or may register on March 18 from 8:00 – 8:45 a.m. at the Slopetracker desk in Copper One. Winter Park Resort will also host a Slopetracker Challenge on Saturday, April 8.
