Specialists in glass, oil painting, jewelry, steel sculpture and more will have their art on display during the Fine Art Show, taking place in the Copper Conference Center. There also will be street vendors, culinary demonstrations, a caricature artist, face painting and spin art for kids. Additionally, kids of all ages are encouraged to help paint an interactive art display consisting of a giant mural in The Village at Copper. Participants also can get an up close view of Alpine Bank's, Alpine Swine, a display of oversized ceramic pigs created by local artists being used for the Alpine Swine Project, which creates awareness for literacy.
“Celebration of the Arts is an exciting event because it celebrates so many different types of art,” said Holly Aure, Copper Village Company spokesperson. “The event can be appreciated by all age groups, and there will be something for every member of the family.”
