COPPER TUNES UP FOR GUITAR TOWN - January 21, 2010
Guitar legends convene at Copper Mountain July 29-30 for Guitar Town, a weekend of top-notch entertainment celebrating that much-loved instrument. From shred to twang, Les Paul to Telecaster, fans can sit on the hillside and enjoy two days of free live performances by some of the world’s finest guitarists including the legendary Joe Satriani and venerable Tim Reynolds.
In November, Santa made a grand entrance by skydiving into Copper’s Burning Stones Plaza to help light the tree and kick off the season’s festivities. The fun continues at Copper throughout December with the High Alpine Holidays and New Year’s Eve celebrations not to be missed including a special En Fuego street party and a disco-themed dinner party in the Copper Conference Center.

Seasoned distance runners and enthusiasts alike test their endurance amidst the high country scenery during the CopperMan Marathon, July 9. Featuring a full, 26.2-mile marathon, half-marathon (13.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles) and two-mile run, the CopperMan is the highest and sure to be one of the most beautiful marathons in the country. COPPER MOUNTAIN HOSTS WOMEN’S LEARN TO RIDE CAMPS IN FEBURARY AND APRIL - February 15, 2006
For the second year in a row, Copper Mountain Ski & Ride School has teamed up with Burton Snowboards to bring the Learn To Ride Women’s Camps to female riders interested in the more focused experience that only a camp can offer. The three day camps are exclusive, women’s-only experiences that deliver the highest level of one-on-one interaction and the most fun, both on snow and off. Camps take place from Feb. 24 through 26 and again from April 7 through 9.
COPPER TO HOST THE LARGEST SNOWBOARD COMPETITION SERIES IN NORTH AMERICA - December 6, 2005
Copper Mountain will play host to the first of its United States of America Snowboard Association (USASA) sanctioned events on Dec. 11. The series begins with giant slalom and slalom alpine races. These competitions will be followed by a series of slopestyle, boardercross, GS and slalom events throughout the winter. Additionally, halfpipe events will be held on Copper's new superpipe visible from the Village at Copper. Spectators can sit back on Jack's deck while enjoying an unprecedented view of the action.

Copper Mountain has experienced its snowiest opening month in 23 years, with more than six feet of snow hitting the slopes. All the new snow has allowed the resort to open terrain at a feverish pace, permitting guests to enjoy more than three times the terrain they had available at this time last year. Weekend Benefit at Copper for the "Health of It" September 11-12, 2004 - September 8, 2004
Copper Mountain Resort will host Health Quest 2004, an annual event that focuses on women’s health, Sept. 11-12, 2004 at The Village at Copper. Health Quest will offer attendees a free women's health symposium with a lecture series focused on natural health, a silent auction, 10K trail run and 5K fun run, free health expo and more.
Copper will honor various forms of art including musical, theatrical, dance, fine, kidz, and culinary art during the 4th Annual Celebration of the Arts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 4-5 at The Village at Copper. Free performances, displays and activities are scheduled for the entire weekend and include performances by Wise Fool New Mexico Dance Troup who specialize in acrobatic stilts, giant puppets, and aerial dance displays.
