Summer move-ins must occur during office hours between 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.

The EDGE Housing Office will begin accepting housing applications, for the 2014-2015 winter season, on September 1, 2014.

One Month Free Rent

We know that making the decision to move up to the mountains to follow your dream of working at a ski resort can be a challenge. So we want to make it as easy as possible for you. We are offering you 2 weeks' rent early season and 2 weeks’ rent at the end of the winter ski season for FREE.*

*Free rent eligibility/dates: This is an offer that is only valid for active Copper employees who reside in the EDGE during the free rent periods. Free rent periods for the 2013-2014 winter ski season are November 29 – December 12, 2014, and April 4 – April 17, 2015.

 

Eligibility

The EDGE accepts applications on a rolling basis from employees of all Copper Mountain managed establishments. Applications from employees of non-Copper owned/managed establishments, within Summit County Colorado, are accepted and reviewed up to 80% occupancy.

The EDGE is designated Employee Housing for Copper Mountain Resort employees. Copper Mountain employees receive priority in lodging and accommodation options. For employment opportunities that will secure housing at Copper Mountain please visit www.coppercolorado.com/winter/jobs.

Copper Mountain and non-Copper employed applicants must be 18+ years of age, have confirmed employment within Summit County Colorado, and provide consent to a background check. Failure to meet these requirements will deny an applicant’s ability to move into the EDGE. Payment in full, at the time of move-in, is required. Failure to pay in full will prevent an applicant’s ability to move into the EDGE.

Rates and Rooms

Copper Mountain Employees

Upon arrival you are required to pay two weeks of rent in advance, in addition to the security deposit and administration fee, see “Other Fees” below for details. If you are employed by Copper Mountain Resort, we make paying rent easy for you. Every two weeks, we automatically deduct the next two weeks’ rent from your paycheck.

Double or Couple Rooms:

  • Vary from 151-186 square foot
  • $10.50/day, or $147.00/two weeks
  • Double rooms have 2 single beds, one desk, a chair, a shared closet and full bathroom.

Single Rooms:

  • Vary from 141-150 square foot
  • $14.00/day, or $196.00/two weeks
  • Single rooms may have a twin or double bed, one desk, a chair, closet, and full bathroom.

Economy Single Rooms:

  • Vary from 121-130 square foot
  • $12.80/day or $197.20/two weeks
  • Economy single rooms may have a twin or double bed, one desk, a chair, closet, and full bathroom.

* Priority for single rooms is given to returning EDGE residents from the previous winter season, working for Copper Mountaion, based on the date we receive your application.

Non-Copper Mountain Employees

Non Copper employees are expected to pay one full month of rent in advance, upon arrival, in addition to the security deposit and administration fee, see “Other Fees” below for details. If you will be working on the resort for a non-Copper owned establishment, or within Summit County, rent for the entire month is due by the 5th of that month.

Double or Couple Rooms:

  • Vary from 141-150 square foot
  • $315.00/month*
  • Double rooms have 2 single beds, one desk, a chair, a shared closet and full bathroom.

Single Rooms:

  • Vary from 141-150 square foot
  • $420.00/month*
  • Single rooms may have a twin or double bed, one desk, a chair, closet, and full bathroom.

Economy Single Rooms:

  • Vary from 121-130 square foot
  • $12.80/day or $384.00/month*
  • Economy single rooms may have a twin or double bed, one desk, a chair, closet, and full bathroom.

* Priority for single rooms is given to returning EDGE residents from the previous winter season, working for Copper Mountain, based on the date we receive your application.

*Monthly rates are based on a 30-day month.

 

Other Fees

Upon move-in, all residents will be required to pay a refundable $150.00 security deposit.

First-time EDGE residents are also required to pay a one-time, non-refundable $50.00 administration fee.

EDGE Café

During the winter season, the EDGE Café will be open for lunch when the EDGE reaches 60% occupancy. Employees and their guests enjoy discounted home-style meals just an elevator ride from their room. Favorites include home-style meatloaf, lasagna, BBQ brisket, pizza, soups, and a fresh salad bar.

 

Lobby

The EDGE lobby is the ultimate relaxation zone when not on the clock. Chill with your friends on the plush couches or test your skills in pool and ping pong. Craving more? We got you covered with building WiFi internet, computer bar, 60" 3-D HDTV with Netflix, and an assortment of vending machine goodies.

 

Transportation

Steps outside your domicile is the Summit Stage bus. No need to budget for a bus pass; this service is totally FREE to any Summit County destination.

 

Parking

FREE parking permits can be obtained by residents to park in the North Alpine Lot during the winter season. The North Alpine lot is accessible by the Copper Shuttle.

For Copper Mountain employees, the total minimum due upon move-in for a double occupancy room is $347 and $396 for a single occupancy room.
