Free Snowcat Access

Copper's Tucker Mountain Snowcat Access is as close to a backcountry, big-mountain experience as you'll find in-bounds at any resort. During the winter season, snowcats run from 10am - 1:30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and Tucker Mountain closes at 2:00 pm. Tucker Mountain is open for hiking most days, weather dependent. Cat operations, terrain openings and conditions may vary and are subject to change. Oh yea...first come, first served.

Ski patrol will fly green flags at all duty stations when the Tucker snowcat is in operation. The duty stations are Tucker Patrol, on top of Tucker Mountain, Motel 6, top of mountain chief, Timberline Patrol, top of American Flyer, and Patrol Headquarters. We will also fly Open flags at the cat pick up and on the snow cats.

Copper FreeRide Electric Car Transport

The FreeRide electric car service will be available from November 23rd to the 25th, 2012 and then open for the remainder of the 2012/2013 season starting on December 22nd. FreeRide hours are daily, from 8:30AM to 11:00AM and then again from 3:00PM to 5:30PM. The FreeRide driver can be contacted during those hours at 970 556-8687.

The FreeRide offers rides between the inner parking lots and the Center Village. Initial focus is for families with small children or anyone struggling with their gear or the elevation. Most of the rides are spontaneous but guests may schedule a pick up, during operating hours by calling the above number.  The car holds 5 people and their equipment.

The FreeRide’s range is typically from the School House at Union Creek to the lodging front desk at the Athletic Club.  The car does not go to Lewis Ranch or to the Alpine and Far East parking lots.

SECRET!PASS

Copper Mountain's SECRET! PASS (formerly known as the Beeline Ticket) is very much like a backstage pass. Then again, it being such a SECRET! makes our PASS a grander deal. With the SECRET! PASS, you get a dedicated lift line at: American Eagle, American Flyer, Super Bee, Excelerator, Kokomo, High Point and Timberline Express.
