Copper Mountain Safety Fest Returns!

Copper is proud to recognize and support the National Ski Area Associations’ Safety Awareness Month with Copper’s Safety Fest, featuring safe skiing and riding education, demonstrations and giveaways.

 

Daily Schedule:

9am - 4pm: Booths open in Center Village

10am: Flight for Life helicopter at Patrol Headquarters (Saturday only)

11am: Avalanche dog drills in Burning Stones Plaza, Center Village

12:30pm: Avalanche dog drills in West Village by the Union Creek Quad

2pm: Kids Avalanche Class

  • Meet at the National Ski Patrol booth in Burning Stones Plaza

3pm: Prize drawings in Burning Stones Plaza

  • Visit each Safety Booth in Burning Stones Plaza to be entered to win great prizes like a season pass, helmets, tubing passes and more

4pm: Ski Patrol Sweeps

  • Help Ski Patrol close the mountain at Timberline Patrol Duty Station
  • Sign up at the National Ski Patrol booth in Burning Stones Plaza

All day: Ski Patrol open house and free hot cocoa at Patrol Headquarters and Timberline Patrol
