Copper is proud to be the official winter training site for all Colorado-based winter Special Olympics athletes as well as the official host resort for the Winter Games. This season marks the 25th consecutive year Copper Mountain will host the event.

8:00 am Volunteer Registration: Cross-Country/Snow Shoe Tent in Triple Treat Lot

8:30 am Volunteer Registration: Alpine/Snowboarding Kokopelli’s Trail

8:30 am Volunteer Orientation: Cross-Country/Snow Shoe Tent in Triple Treat Lot

8:45 am Volunteer Orientation: Alpine/Snowboarding Bighorn B

9:30 am Parade starts Gather at base of climbing wall

9:30 - 10 am Opening Ceremonies Burning Stones Plaza

10 am - 3 pm Alpine/Snowboarding Competition See venue specific schedule

10 am - 3 pm Cross-Country/Snow Shoe Competition See venue specific schedule

3 pm - 5 pm Family Reception Kokopelli’s Trail

4:30 - 6:30 pm Dance Bighorn B/C1

6:30 - 7:00 pm Torchlight Parade, Fireworks Burning Stones Plaza
