There is nothing more magical than spending the holidays up in the mountains surrounded by fresh snow and pure beauty! It is festive, warm and exciting for kids and families! Copper mountain has a lot of fun activities and celebrations during the holidays. On Christmas Eve, you are going to want to head down to The Village for the beginning of fun! You can warm up your toasty bodies next to the bonfires and end with a mini glowlight parade. Have your kids ever witnessed Santa skiing down the slope? Well there is a first for everything:) He will be at Copper doing just that! And what would be the perfect activity to end a fun night?? A fireworks show to get the kids even more excited about Christmas day!
Copper is also the place to be to celebrate New Year’s Eve! I have always wanted to spend New Year’s in the mountains, and this might be the perfect reason why. Ring in the New Year with a day of skiing and an evening of fun. Who wouldn’t LOVE awesome food, more bonfires and champagne toasts?? There will be fun music from DJ Landry in the Woodward at Copper tent, a torchlight parade and two fireworks shows! My kids would be in heaven. The main village at Copper has so many delicious restaurants to choose from and a variety of delicious cocktails to toast in the New Year!
Copper is having a great snowy season! Lifts open at 9am Monday-Friday, and 8:30am on weekends and holidays. Copper Mountain will be open daily through April 20th, 2014. Extended Season - Friday-Sunday, April 25th - April 27th.
