Sherpa in the Summer

Did you know you can use Copper's app Sherpa in the summertime too?

There's a saying around here that you may have heard, "come for the winter, stay for the summer." If you've been to Summit County in the summer, you'd understand right away. With countless sunny days, temps that hardly rise over 80 degrees, little humidity and tons to do, the summer can be just as fun and exciting as the winter season.

Here at Copper, we've made it even easier to make the most out of your summer visit here. Download our free app Sherpa, turn it on, put in your headphones and head up the American Eagle chairlift for some hiking or mountain biking. As you make your way around the mountain, you'll hit markers on the various trails that include historical information about the area, what wildlife to look out for, the best scenic views and more. Here's a guide to the Sherpa markers you can find. You can also find this information on the Summer Adventure Guide, copies are available at the Guest Services location in Center Village. Happy Sherpa-ing!
