Courage Classic: How You Can Help for the 25th Anniversary

Come on out to Courage Classic at Copper this weekend, July 19 - 21!

Courage Classic is celebrating its 25th year in raising money for Children's Hospital Colorado. Courage Classic is a bicycle tour, not a race, that encompasses a three-day, multi-route course that winds through Summit, Eagle and Lake Counties during the height of the Rocky Mountain’s summertime beauty. Over 2,400 riders are registered this year making it a sold out event!

Last year, the Courage Classic raised more than $2 million and this year’s goal has been set for a record-breaking $2.8 million. Participants can help reach this goal and celebrate the 25th tour by joining the Up 25 campaign, increasing their personal fundraising goal 25 percent over their previous fundraising total or 25 percent above the minimum for new riders.

What's new for the 25th Anniversary? Guests of the tour will be treated to a walk though time at this year’s Pavilion Retrospective. Located adjacent to Copper's Conference Center will be a large white tent filled with the memories of 25 Courage Classic tours. Guests are invited to walk through both the history of the CC as well as the pediatric innovations and milestones Of Children’s Hospital Colorado. This location will also be the home of the official 25th Celebration, a festive evening filled with a heartwarming program, recognition and fabulous entertainment.

Not cycling for the event? You are still welcome to come to Copper to celebrate - there will be live music both Friday and Saturday and there is plenty of family-friendly entertainment happening throughout the weekend. There will also be an expo in Burning Stones Plaza in Center Village for all to check out with vendors and information booths including Children's Hospital Colorado. There will even be fireworks!
