Copper Environmental Foundation (CEF)

Mission Statement: The Copper Environmental Foundation will support youth based environmental projects and programs in Colorado’s Summit and Lake Counties that promote sustainability through education, scientific research, or community-based initiatives.


Copper Environmental Foundation (CEF)

The Copper Environmental Foundation (CEF) was started in November 2007 by Copper employees, with a long-term goal to support environmental initiatives in Summit County and the surrounding area. Over the past year the Environmental Foundation supported such organizations like Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, Summit County Pre-School, Summit School District, Keystone Science School, Girl Scouts and High Country Conservation Center.

The 2016 CEF Grant Cycle opens on October 1st, 2015 with an application deadline of December 31, 2015.

The CEF Grant Cycle is now closed. Keep an eye out for the 2017 Grant Cycle in early October 2016. 

2015 Copper Environmental Foundation grant recipients include: Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, Girl Scouts of Colorado, High Country Conservation Center - Cloud City, High Country Conservation Center - Summit, Great Heights Academy, Mountain Top Children's Museum, Keystone Science School and Lake Dillon Pre-School.
