Feb. 29, 2008 is Leap Day. It's an extra day added to February every four years to help realign the calendar. And it's also "National Take the Day Off and Ski & Ride Day." And Leapers (people born on Leap Day) get to ski and ride FREE, at Copper...see below!
It's pretty much my favorite holiday. It's like your birthday and a sick day combined. You don't have to work, and you get to do whatever you want. Make your plans now to spend National Take the Day Off and Ski & Ride Day at Copper.
A major component of N.T.T.D.O.A.S.A.R.D. is the act of "calling in sick." You're not really celebrating correctly if you don't, so we've compiled a handy list of excuses to make this easier for you.
If you're lucky enough to be born on Leap Day, you're called a Leaper! And since your birthday only comes around every four years, Copper wants to help you celebrate. Leapers visiting Copper on Feb. 29, 2008 can receive a free day of skiing or riding.* To get a free ticket, all Leapers MUST email skiandrideday@gmail.com for more information.
*Leapers need to provide a valid drivers license or other official documentation proving you were actually born on February 29th. Documentation must be shown to pick up pass. Pass valid February 29, 2008 only. You need to contact us first at skiandrideday@gmail.com to receive your free day skiing or riding. I know that this seems like a lot of restrictions, but we can't have a bunch of non-Leapers scoring free passes!
