Ski With a Forest Service Ranger
Learn more about the natural environment of Copper and the surrounding area directly from the U.S. Forest Service. Shelly Grail, the Snow Ranger for the Dillon Ranger District of the White River National Forest, will teach guests about local flora, fauna and history during this one-hour, free ski tour. Shelly will also review current issues affecting our National Forest, including the pine beetles affecting Summit County. Guests will ski with Shelly from the top of the Timberline Express to the bottom of the American Flyer lift in about one hour. Meet Shelly at 11am at the top of the Timberline Express lift on Friday, December 28 or Friday, January 4.
