Free Lift Rides*

We’re taking you to the top. For free. Copper Mountain is offering free round-trip rides on the American Eagle chairlift. Copper is the only resort in County to offer free chairlift rides, available from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. everyday, weather permitting. Guests are asked to visit Guest Services in the Village at Copper to pick up their free round-trip ticket on the American Eagle.

* You may think it’s spending $10 anywhere in the village to get a free chairlift ride. But it’s spending $10 on something awesome and then riding the chairlift for free. Subject to change.

• Sun - Thurs, 10am - 5pm Activities (Guest Services 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Fri-Sat, 10am-7pm (Guest Services 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

(EXCEPTION: Lift and Digglers close at 4PM DAILY)

2010 Summer Activities will operate, June 18 - September 6, unless otherwise noted.

Mountain Adventures

Summer Activity Pass

For either a day with the Summer Day Pass for only $39 or the NEW Summer Season Pass for only $69. Both passes offer unlimited access to bungee, mini golf, Diggler, scenic chair lift rides, lake activities, bike/equipment haul, climbing wall and one session per day on Summit County’s only go-kart track. The Summer Day Pass is valid for the day of purchase, whereas the NEW Summer Season Pass is valid for the entire summer.

Scenic Chairlift Rides

During your summer vacation at Copper, take a ride on the American Eagle lift to 11,375 feet for mountain exploration, amazing views and lunch at our Solitude BBQ. Sign up at the Adventure Desk in Mountain Adventure Center.

Downhill Mountain Biking

Attention:

During the Warrior Dash weekend of August 21 and 22,  Copper Mountain’s Mountain Bike trails and Digglers will be CLOSED  to our summer guests.
(This includes using the Digglers in the village.)


Operating dates: Estimated July 1, 2010 – dependent on snow melt – hiking and biking follows snow melt to September 6, 2010

Weather permitting, the Eagle lift runs daily from 10am-4pm. Take in the views, have lunch at Solitude, ride down. Last ride down is 4:15pm
We'll haul you and your mountain bike up the chair lift, then your ride down.
o Lift hauls mountain bike up American Eagle lift.
o Drops rider off at top.
o Rider can choose from Easy, Intermediate, or Advanced terrain.

**Pricing applies and ticket required even for download only. All persons riding the chairlift must have a ticket. Tickets must be securely attached to individual riders' clothing.

The Diggler

Rent this fantastically fun off-road scooter, ride up the chairlift and laugh your whole way down the mountain! Tickets and rentals available at the Adventure Desk inside the Mountain Adventure Center.

Go-Karts

Race family and friends on Summit County's only go-kart track! Sign up at the Mountain Adventure Center or at the track located in the Chapel Lot. You must be at least 56 inches tall to drive a go-kart.

Copper Cade

Copper's very own video arcade. The games in Coppercade include: Mega Pick Machine,Two Jurassic Park pinball machines, Star Trek Pinball, Street Fighter II Pinball, Mrs. Pacman , Moon Patrol, Deer Hunting USA, Maximum Force , Cruis'N World, Surf Planet, Golden T 3D, Gauntlet Dark Legacy, Sega Water Skiing, Road Riot 4 Wheel Drive. There is also a Photo Booth, Jukebox, Carousel Horse Ride, and Train Ride.

Bungee Jump

Flip, spin, and fling yourself into the blue, Copper Mountain summer sky.  Tickets available at the Adventure Desk inside the Mountain Adventure Center.

 The Climbing Wall

Come scale the largest outdoor climbing wall in Colorado. Routes available for all skill levels. Sign up at The Fall Line or Mountain Adventure Center in The Village at Copper.  One climb per guest.  Harnesses, ropes and trained staff members will be on-site.

Hiking

Discover Copper Mountain on a beautiful nature hike! Hike or take a scenic chairlift ride to the peak of Copper Mountain, stroll along the Colorado Trail or observe the plants and animals in the forest at the top of the American Eagle lift. 

Opt for lunch at 11,375 feet at Solitude Station with gorgeous views of the Ten Mile Range.

Complimentary Leki hiking poles, strollers and child-carrying back-packs are available for free loan at Guest Services.

Information about self guided hikes is also available at Guest Services in the Mountain Adventure Center in the Village at Copper.

 

Boating

Bumper Boat and Paddle Boat Rentals
Explore the West Lake side of Copper! Paddleboat rentals are available at Chubs or the Mountain Adventure Center.

15 minutes on bumper boats or 30 minutes on paddleboats. 5 and under are FREE with a paying adult.

 

Copper Mountain Athletic Club

The Copper Mountain Athletic Club is a full service fitness center with cardio and weight equipment, racquetball courts and 25-yard, four-lane pool which always has at least two lanes open for family and recreational swimming and two lanes for swimming laps. A co-ed hot tub is located on the pool deck, with men's adn women's hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms in each locker room. Massage, body treatments and facials are also available.


The Athletic Club is located on Copper Road, next to Woodward at Copper.

Facial and Massage

Come pamper yourself with a rejuvenating facial and relaxing massage at the Copper Mountain Athletic Club. Facials are specifically designed to combat the stress of the high altitude and alpine climate. Our massages are a combination of many techniques including Swedish relaxation, neuromuscular, sports, pregnancy and deep tissue.
