Copper Thanksgiving

November 25, 2016

Santa just can’t stay away from a good party, so he’s coming to town a little early – and he’s arriving via Pisten Bully Snowcat! Following his grand entrance, the kids will be able to share their Christmas “list” with Santa and Mrs. Claus. We’ll wrap up the evening with Copper’s annual tree lighting and fireworks in Center Village.

Go Pro Yam Jam

Celebrate the season the only way we know how, Thanks-jibbing at the 14th annual Yam Jam. Presented by GoPro, the rail jam is open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities and takes place on Lower Bouncer in Copper’s Center Village.

Rev Tour

December 05 - December 09, 2016

The Copper stop of the U.S. Rev Tour will include snowboard and freeski competitions in the Main Vein Superpipe. The Rev Tour has proven to be a progressive venue for today’s top junior skiers and riders to take the competitive stage in multiple disciplines, and is designed to serve as a stepping- stone for athletes to make the transition from competing at the grassroots level to the elite level. Top winners may earn an invite to the U.S. Grand Prix, Junior Worlds or USASA Nationals.

U.S. Grand Prix

December 11 - December 17, 2016

The world’s best snowboarders and freeskiers hit the 22-foot Superpipe in pursuit of World Cup points and $400k in prize money. This year’s event will also include a Big Air competition - a new Olympic Discipline. Athletes expected to compete include Louie Vito, Kelly Clark, Scotty Lago, Hannah Teter and more.

Christmas at Copper

On Christmas Eve, Copper will dazzle with yet another visit from Santa himself, along with a children’s Glowstick Pageant and a Torchlight Parade down Main Vein. Before you head home to set out the milk and cookies for jolly St. Nick, enjoy a festive fireworks display over the mountain.
