Colorado Cyclist partners and the Davis Phinney Foundation, for Parkinson’s disease research, for this 78-mile alpine cycling event. The Copper Triangle has long been considered one of Colorado’s classic alpine road rides. The Alpine Cycling Classic exemplifies cycling in the Colorado Rockies which features challenging high-altitude climbs over Fremont Pass, Tennessee Pass and Vail Pass.

The 11th annual festival includes three days of free acoustic and electric performances from guitar legends,free guitar and songwriting workshops, Custom Luthier Expo, ArtGuitar silent auction and kids’ music activities. Performers include Eric Johnson, Andy McKee, J2B2, John Jorgenson Quintet, Trio Balkan Strings, Richard Smith, Rory Hoffman, Steve Vai, Robben Ford, Sonny Landreth and the John Jorgenson Electric Band with special guest Chris Casello.

This 200 mile journey begins at Copper with teams running over and around nearby mountains with the relay continuing into the night ultimately finishing at Snowmass Resort. Not up for the run? Come cheer on these teams of hardcore runners who have joined together to tackle elevations of over 10,000 feet.

Mud, sweat and beer flood Copper during the world’s largest obstacle race series with going to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Participants earn their Warrior helmet by tackling a fierce 3 mile course over, through and under extreme obstacles. After conquering the battleground, Warriors celebrate with turkey legs, beer steins, muddy shorts and live music at a post-race party in a league of its own. Free Friday night music TBD.

Copper Mountain plays host to its first ever US Pro Challenge - also known as America’s Race - and sends off Stage 3 in style. Familiar terrain and faces await the racers on Independence Pass and Aspen. Copper will kick off on Tuesday night with free live entertainment with festival in full swing on Wednesday morning at 9:00AM. In addition to going shoulder to shoulder with the world’s greatest cyclists, spend the day at Copper and partake in an unforgettable mountain festival with entertainment, live music and cycling-centered activities.

All-stars from smooth to fusion delight your senses at the 31st annual festival. A stellar line- up with of national jazz talent – Peter White, Paul Taylor, Euge Groove, Kim Waters, Nick Colionne, Marc Antoine, Brian Simpson and Dotsero-plus delicious food and wine tastings add up to a smooth mountain getaway.

Entertainers and acts including juggling, mimes, clowns, and acrobatics bring a unique element to this craft beverage tasting event. This circus will feature samplings from cideries and breweries, kid’s crafts and entertainment for the whole family. Headlining the event is the fabulous eye and ear candy, the March Fourth Marching Band.

A Labor Day tradition, Copper Country celebrates the best of the American spirit with live music and arts. The line-up this year will feature free concerts from Jimmie Vaughan, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Three Dog Night, Orleans, Buckwheat Zydeco, The Long Players, and Savannah Jack.

A women-only 5k mud run designed for all ages and athletic abilities, which is by no means a 'race' in the traditional sense. Join fellow Dirty Girls to push and encourage tackling obstacles slightly beyond your comfort zone. At a Dirty Girl Mud Run you'll find excitement, laughter, and camaraderie—as well as lots of music and even some adult beverages. You will also be financially and physically taking a stand against breast cancer with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the cause.

The Copper Mountain Chubby Chili Pepper Cook-off and Cold Beer Fest will be on Saturday, September 9, 2015 from 2-5pm. Come and sample a variety of chili concoctions that will get your taste buds fired up! Take a scenic ride around the Copper Triangle, while the Aspens are aglow and finish your day at Copper Mountain with free live music. $20 bucks gets you a VIP ticket and includes unlimited sampling, and a vote for your favorite Chili.
