Pardon Our Dust
Copper is replacing the High Point Lift with an all new high-speed quad this summer, and that may cause some dust.

As you might have noticed, Copper is replacing the High Point lift this summer. For the safety of all guests, mountain biking and other trail use may be closed or restricted without advanced notice while construction takes place. Don't worry – there are still plenty of trails open on the mountain (Red Tail, Upper Elk Alley and A-Road). Beginning July 1st, snow melt dependent, we plan on opening more trails for your hiking & biking pleasure. Make sure to stop by the Info Center located adjacent to Burning Stones Plaza or Guest Services in Copper Mountain Sports in the Village at Copper to find out the best hot-spots for on-mountain exploration.
Saying Goodbye to an old friend. :(..
Off to a better place.
The New Lift Arrives!

One of my very fond memories of skiing at Copper 30 years ago was jumping off the H chair (it's name then) at the rise that nearly had us skiing on the snow as the chair met the hill. The landing was like any foofy powder: cloud like. We always did it with deep snow and at the end of the day just in case our lift ticket was pulled. Wish I'd done it this past season to say good bye. Great memories.....

I am interested to see how skiers will access new lift if coming from the west like roundabout.

@robert-- there will be a new grade across the bottom of that last pitch of Vein Glory, right where the old H-lift counterweight was. One will be able to ski past the maze at the bottom of K-lift and in front of the UC buildings much easier than before.

We came to copper mountain for the first time this year from the UK and had an amazing time. The place and the people where fantastic. We had the pleasure of riding High Point for the last time it would seem and look forward to riding the new high speed lift next year (we have booked already). The terrain covered by the lift is beautiful and mellow. I’m so glad we found Copper Mountain.
