Bump Busters

Learn to rip bumps in this clinic headed up by competitive mogul skier, Stephen Karp, and taught by competitive-level certified instructors. The clinic applies a powerful approach to conquering the intimidation and overcoming the physical and mental challenges of mogul skiing. Bump Busters touches on several aspects of mogul and overall skiing, including: training, clothing and equipment, balance, body position, mogul etiquette, safety, line choice, and the mental focus and energy to make it all happen. With individual attention directed at your strengths to reach your goals, you will be sure to come away from this clinic a better mogul skier, and enjoy ripping the rest of the mountain with your new found tools. Bump Busters includes a video analysis, as well as an on-line mogul handbook.

Bump Busters begin at the Burning Stones Plaza (Center Village).

Clinics run at 10:00am every Saturday.

Tree Busters

Have you ever been intimidated by the tightness of the trees? Both skiers and riders can learn to tackle Copper's wonderful gladded trees, tight trees and everything in-between in the new Tree Busters program. This clinic takes the proven techniques of our Bump Buster program and applies the same concept to the trees. The program will touch on short radius turns, balance, stance, and speed control and take you through a progression designed to give you the tools and confidence needed for tree skiing or riding. Also, if you ask nicely, your instructor may give away locals knowledge of some of Copper's secret tree stashes.

Clinics run at 10:00am every Saturday.

Powder and Carving Busters

Want to learn the freedom associated with floating on fresh powder? Or maybe you're looking for the same feeling while arcing the perfect carve turn? Then we have the clinic for you. As with the other buster series programs, this clinic will touch on all aspects of skiing and riding, with a focus on overcoming the challenges associated with deep snow. You learn to not dig your tips and go for a roll, or get exhausted with powder still on the ground. Once the fresh snow is gone, the instructor will transfer the same skills to perfecting a full on carve on the groomers. So if you find yourself at Copper on one of its many powder days, or on one of Colorado's many bluebird days, don't miss this clinic.

Clinics run at 10:00am every Saturday.
