• Named Best All-Around Mountain in Outside Traveler's 2007 Resort Report

 

• Ranked among Top 20 ski resorts in 2008 SKI magazine Reader Resort Survey - Copper ranked #14 this year

 

• Transworld SNOWboarding readers put Copper Mountain in the 2007/08 Top Ten resort rankings:

• Copper Parks ranked #8
• Copper Ranked overall #9 in Top Ten Resorts

• Ranked among Top Ten Best Parks in Freeskier magazine's 2008 Travel Guide - Copper ranked in as No. 8 for 'Best Park' in the nation. 

 

• Ranked Best Skiing and Best Snowboarding Mountain for the fifth consecutive year in the Summit Daily News' Best of Summit 2007 poll. 

 

• "Kids' Pages Best Places for Families 2008" competition - Copper Mountain has been chosen by the readers as one of the top three winners in the Best Ski Area Category.

 

• "Kids' Pages Best Places for Families 2007" competition - Copper Mountain has been chosen by the readers as one of the top three winners in the Best Family Ski Area Category. 

 

• TripAdvisor.com named Copper #10 on their TravelCast Top Ten U.S. Destinations for 2008.  TripAdvisor-branded sites make up the largest travel community in the world, with more than 25 million monthly visitors, five million registered members and 10 million reviews and opinions. 

 

• Copper has been named to the Top 20 family ski resorts by www.familyskiresorts.net.  Top resorts were chosen based upon family atmosphere, children's' programs, lodging variety, ease of transportation and variety of skiing terrain.

 

• Copper has been named the best place to Snowboard by Mountain Living Magazine for 2008.  Reasons sited for this award are "Copper Mountain boasts every type of snowboarding experience from a beginners track with mini kickers and small rails to the award-winning Superpipe—a 430-foot pipe with 18-foot-high walls set on a 16-degree pitch. The Kidz Terrain Park is the perfect place for those future Shaun Whites."

 

• On behalf of Colorado Ski country USA and Copper Mountain Slope Maintenance, Meg McAmmond received the award of Snowmaker of the Year for Colorado Ski Country.  Meg was selected over all of the other snowmakers in Colorado to receive this award.
