Copper offers free skiing and riding for those that are just learning, quick and easy ski and ride school options to help you reach your full potential and programming with Woodward at Copper that pushes your skiing and riding skills to a whole new level. 

FREE Skiing and Riding – That’s Right – Free for Beginners All Winter Long
All season long beginners can access and learn for free on the Easy Rider carpet located in Center Village. Once basic skills are learned, a ticket for the Pitchfork chairlift is only $15, allowing beginners to master getting on and off the lift while perfecting turning and stopping. 


Ski and Ride School Quickie Lesson 
If you haven’t taken a ski or snowboard lesson in quite some time or ever, now is the time to take your skills to the next level with minimal time and effort. The Copper Quickie lesson is a 45-minute refresher for those who are dusting off their skis or snowboard and need to get their snow-legs back in action. More information 


Woodward at Copper Freestyle Lessons
The newly offered Youth Freestyle Lesson bridges the gap between indoor practice and on-snow domination for kids ages 6 – 9 years old. This full-day lesson starts in the Woodward at Copper Barn, progresses to the snow for practice and finishes at The Woodward at Copper Barn facility where new skills are polished. More information


Woodward at Copper is Not Just for the Pros
Families and amateurs alike are invited to experience Woodward and all that it has to offer. Recent Woodward at Copper Barn renovations further Woodward’s reach to terrain park never-evers by offering a new beginner foam pit with 2-foot and 4-foot jumps designed for the development of beginner park skills. Come One, Come All – Woodward Barn Renovations Now Welcome Wheels and Newbies Alike
Earlier this summer the Woodward at Copper Barn underwent a half-million renovation project, which has opened the door far beyond snowboards and skis to now include skateboards, BMX and slopestyle mountain bike . All synthetic snow surfaces were replaced with a surface designed for wheels. Families and amateurs alike are invited to experience the renovations, featuring expanded offerings for never-ever’s, with additions including a new beginner foam pit with a 2-foot and 4-foot jumps, a pump track designed for the development of park skills, and new programming to bridge the gap and see results on snow. More information
