Snow Lovers Rejoice in Return of the Copper Mountain Snow Day Pass

COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. — Dec. 18, 2012 — Copper Mountain has received 6 inches in the past 24 hours making today an official Snow Day valid with the Snow Day Pass. In the past 7 days Copper has received 15 inches of snow boosting acreage to 363 acres and 34 trails currently open just in time for the holidays. With new snow gracing the slopes, Copper Mountain is happy to announce the return of the Snow Day Pass for the 12/13 winter season. For just $99, the Snow Day Pass allows pass holders unlimited lift access at Copper Mountain any day that the mountain receives 4 inches of snow or more. Copper Mountain averages 30 snow days each season and upcoming snow in the forecast the Snow Day Pass gives guests the best bang for their buck this winter.  

The Snow Day Pass is valid when the official Copper Mountain snow report states 4 inches or more. The report is based on the previous 24-hour period and an official Snow Day will be announced the morning of the valid day. Guests can find out if it is an official Snow Day at www.coppercolorado.com starting at 5:30 a.m., signing up for the Copper Mountain Daily Mountain Report, checking out the Copper Mountain Snow Stake Cam or following Copper Mountain at www.facebook.com/CopperMtn or @CopperMtn on Twitter.

With the Snow Day Pass, Copper offers two guaranteed bonus days of skiing or riding on Superbowl Sunday, Feb. 3, and Closing Day, April 14.The Snow Day Pass is available for a limited time only.
