Copper Mountain has received over seven feet of snow so far in the 2013/2014 season showcasing some of the best early-season conditions in recent years. With new snow gracing the slopes, Copper Mountain is excited to offer the best deal on the slopes: the 2013/2014 Snow Day Pass.

COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. — December 17, 2013 — Copper Mountain has received over seven feet of snow so far in the 2013/2014 season showcasing some of the best early-season conditions in recent years. With new snow gracing the slopes, Copper Mountain is excited to offer the best deal on the slopes: the 2013/2014 Snow Day Pass. For just $99, the Snow Day Pass allows guests unlimited lift access at Copper Mountain any day that the mountain receives four inches of snow or more. Copper Mountain averages 30 “snow days” each winter season and with upcoming snow in the forecast the Snow Day Pass gives guests the best bang for their buck this winter.

 

The Snow Day Pass is valid when the official Copper Mountain snow report states four inches or more. The report is based on the previous 24-hour period and an official ‘snow day’ will be announced the morning of the valid day. Guests can find snow day announcements at www.coppercolorado.com starting at 5:30 a.m., by signing up for the Daily Mountain Report, by checking out the live Snow Stake Web Cam or by following Copper Mountain at www.facebook.com/CopperMtn or @CopperMtn on Twitter.

 

With the purchase of the Snow Day Pass, Copper offers two guaranteed bonus days of skiing and riding on Superbowl Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, and on Closing Day, April 20, 2014.The Snow Day Pass is available for a limited time only either online at www.coppercolorado.com/snowdaypass or in person at any Guest Services location.

 

Mark the calendar, Copper Mountain kicks off the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix series, a U.S. Olympic team selection event, this week, Dec. 19 - 22. Both slopestyle and halfpipe disciples with be featured at Copper Mountain before making their world debut in February in Russia. Athletes will be throwing their biggest and best tricks in the last Colorado qualifier before Sochi. Top athletes from all over the world are expected to compete giving spectators a chance to watch and rub elbows with the sport’s next big stars. New this season guests can watch the high-flying action of both Snowboarding and Freeskiing in Copper’s Main Vein Superpipe under the lights on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 20 - 21.
