If the absolutely breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains and the ambiance of the cool mountain air mixed with glorious rays of sunshine aren’t enough for the tween in the family, don’t worry – Copper has it covered. Copper Mountain offers enough activities to keep the overactive members of the family completely entertained while parents focus on relaxation. June 14 marks Copper Mountain’s Summer 2013 opening weekend. Visitors can take advantage of free lift rides up to the American Eagle Chairlift with any $10 purchase in the village. Embrace the views, break a sweat and hike down to the base, or embrace adrenaline and rent a bike or diggler haul for the day for just $15. Other activities include Summit County’s only Go-Kart track, mini golf, bumper boats and paddle boats on West Lake, the climbing wall and the Alpine Rush Zip Line.
