FREE Skiing and Riding – That’s Right – Free for Beginners All Winter Long

All season long beginners can access and learn for free on the Easy Rider carpet located in Center Village. Once basic skills are learned, a ticket for the Pitchfork chairlift is only $15, allowing beginners to master getting on and off the lift while perfecting turning and stopping.

 

Always Free Parking

Guests can park in our Alpine or Far East lots for free; all village parking is just a short shuttle ride away. More Information

 

Free Mountain Orientation Tours

Copper's Ambassadors offer free tours of the mountain daily at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Through these tours, guests see the mountain from west to east, learn how to get around and learn about the best local spots. More Information

 

 

Free Tucker Mountain Snowcat

Expert skiers and riders can take the free Tucker Snowcat ride up to Tucker Mountain, offering over 1,200 vertical feet of terrain that is inaccessible by chairlift. During the winter season, the snowcat runs from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday, weather permitting. More Information




Free Snowshoe Tours

Copper Mountain’s Resort Ambassadors offer free daily snowshoe tours throughout the season, with two tour options: an advanced, more physically demanding Morning Tour at 10 a.m. and a family-friendly Afternoon Tour at 1 p.m. Tours include details about the Rocky Mountain environment and wildlife. Advanced reservations are required and snowshoe rentals are available at Gear Check in West Village for $10. More information

Kids Night Out

Sponsored by the Copper Mountain Resort Association, Kids' Night Out is a free childcare service offered to parents when $30 per child is spent shopping or dining at Copper during the hours that the kids are in the program. Available 5:30 -10:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. More information
