2013/2014 Winter Season Extension and Sunsation Festival Take over Spring at Copper Mountain
The snow continues to pile up at Copper Mountain and with the Spring Sunsation Festival and over two weeks left in the newly extended season, closing day April 27, the time is now to seize the spring skiing and riding at Copper.

COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. – April 10, 2014 – The snow continues to pile up at Copper Mountain and with the Spring Sunsation Festival and over two weeks left in the newly extended season, closing day April 27, the time is now to seize the spring skiing and riding at Copper.
The annual Sunsation celebration kicks off this Saturday, April 12 with the return of Red Bull Slopesoakers at 11 a.m. This rail jam meets pond skim features a bigger and better course than ever before and prizes including $500 cash and 2014/2015 Copper Mountain Season Passes up for grabs. Free live music begins with alternative country-rock headliner the Old 97’s at 2 p.m in Burning Stones Plaza, Center Village. On Sunday, April 13, the infamous Eenie Weenie Bikini Contest begins in Center Village at 1:30 p.m. Contestants make their way down from the base of the Main Vein Halfpipe via skis or snowboard in their best beach wear, prizes include $350 cash and Copper Mountain 2014/2015 4-Packs. Get colorful at Copper over Easter Weekend with The Color Run’s first 5k race on-snow on Saturday, April 19. The course stretches across the resort and features color “throws” at each mile of the course, ensuring all runners are colorful from head to toe. So-Gnar closes out the season with the So-Gnar Shred Circuit Grand Finale in Woodward’s Central Park from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The 2013/2014 winter season isn’t over yet at Copper Mountain with an extended weekend of skiing and riding, Friday, April 25 through Sunday,April 27.
