SCOOTERS

3 WEEK CAMPS

An amazing program for kids. Focusing on skill development and mountain etiquette, kids learn to ski or snowboard in a safe, fun environment. Scooter camps offer kids fun-filled days of skiing and snowboarding on the slopes of Copper. Coaches use a variety of techniques to promote better balance and body awareness to improve your child's alpine skiing or snowboarding.

Scooters are grouped into teams of equal age, ability and speed, and will remain with the same group for each session. Kids are supervised throughout the day and eat lunch together. Scooters camps meet three consecutive weekends per month. Choose either a Saturday or Sunday camp. Program days are not interchangeable and no make-up days are offered for missed days.

In order to provide the best possible experience for all of our students, the programs are broken down by both grade level and child's ability:

ACTIVITY SCOOTERS
Skiing Kindergarten - 8th grade
Snowboarding Kindergarten - 8th grade

Camps Include:

  • Three days of skiing or snowboarding coaching
  • Rocky Mountain Super Pass
  • Continuous adult supervision
  • Lunch included

TIME:

Meet at 8:30am — Pickup at 2:30pm.

Location: December- Center Village  Jan-March- Union Creek

RENTALS:

Children should have their own equipment prior to each class.

ATTENDANCE:

Attendance on the first day of each session is necessary to ensure your child is on the correct team for their age and ability.

PLEASE NOTE:

Children must be prepared for a peaceful separation from parents. We will not offer refunds or make-ups for missed lessons or lift tickets.

CAMP DATES: We cannot accept enrollments within 48 hours of the program start date.

Enrollment Information

To be enrolled, registrations must include the following:

A completed enrollment form for each child.

*ABILITY ASSESSMENT: Along with the Scooters, Choppers, or Trailblazers enrollment, please also review this form to help determine your child's ability. This will help to place him or her in the appropriate class.

Signed Release of Liability.
All Kids programs also require this release to be signed. Please complete and fax back to us.

Payments by check or credit card.
Checks should be made payable to: Copper Mountain Inc.

Completed registrations can be mailed or faxed to our office. Please call or email youthprograms@coppercolorado.com to get information sent to you. Phone registrations are not accepted! Enroll Early! Registrations are accepted on a first come first served basis. Copper will acknowledge receipt of all applications as soon as possible.

Cancellations & Refunds:
There will be a $25 charge for cancelling program enrollment up to 10 days prior to the program's start date, within 10 days of the program start date the cancellation charge will be $50.  We do not offer refunds or make-ups for missed lessons, lift tickets or bus fare. The only exceptions are for illnesses or season ending injuries with a valid doctor's note.

Parents Please Note:
Students are required to remain with their instructor at all times;  we ask that you support this policy. Students who "skip" their lessons will be removed from the program, there will be NO refund given.
