Choppers Program

Program Details

4 OR 8 WEEK OPTIONS. Begins in January.
A Skiing & Snowboarding Adventure for Ages 8 - 18
Back for another season - (2) 4-week Sunday Programs

This is a program with attitude. Whether you are riding rails and pipes or just starting out, Choppers is a ski/snowboard adventure. Taught by Copper's top professional coaches specializing in youth instruction, our coaches will create an environment that will allow your Choppers to take their skiing and riding to the next level. Whether they are still just getting comfortable on their skis or snowboard or are trying to stick the latest trick in the park, we have coaches for all ability levels. Choppers will introduce your child to freestyle skiing or riding, park & pipe, racing and an all-mountain experience.

The child's age and ability (including terrain experience) will determine their skiing or riding team. Parents may help with the placement process by indicating the terrain your child skis or snowboards comfortably on at this time. Choose either Saturday or Sunday camps. (Days are not interchangeable.)

PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • Classes for experts to first timers — every effort is made to keep friends of the same age and ability together
  • Rocky Mountain Super Pass included in the cost of camp
  • Charter bus transportation with adult supervision provided to and from Copper Mountain
  • Ten bus pick-up locations conveniently located throughout the Front Range.  Depending on enrollment numbers some buses may have two stops.
  • 8 or 4 days of skiing/snowboarding coaching. (4 day program only on Sundays.)
  • Continuous adult supervision
  • Choppers are greeted by their instructors when the bus arrives (approximately 9:00am) and enjoy a full day of skiing/snowboarding until 2:45pm.
  • Lift-line cutting privileges allow for plenty of slope time
  • Coaches eat lunch with their classes and return them to the bus at the end of the day. (Lunch is not included in the program)
  • Equipment is not included. All Choppers are responsible for their gear
