Copper offers dormitory style housing during the winter season. From the minute you enter the building, you will find yourself living an experience with 400 of your friends. Throughout the season a number of events are held for residents ranging from dance parties to ski trips at other resorts throughout Colorado. Double occupancy and limited single occupancy rooms are available. Upon securing employment at Copper, please contact your supervisor to discuss availability and consideration for employee housing.

2007/2008 Winter Housing

Limited housing is available for the 07/08 winter season.  Upon securing employment at Copper, please submit your housing application and a member of the housing team will get back to you promptly. 

Please note that we be charging a reservation fee this season to hold rooms. Beginning September 15th, 2007 everyone reserving a room in employee housing with an arrival date after November 1st, 2007 must pay a $150 nonrefundable fee to employee housing.  This fee will be credited towards your move in fees upon arrival.

Double occupancy rooms have two twin beds and a private bathroom with shower/tub, sink and toilet. Single occupancy rooms have a single bed (ranging from twin to full), shower, sink and toilet. There is a two week minimum stay.

All employees wishing to reserve a room for the 07/08 winter season must arrive before 1/1/08.  We will not reserve rooms for people arriving after 12/31/07.  Please contact us for further information.  Rooms are first come first serve, however we reserve the right to place people based on employment position.

 

Daily Rates:

  • $10/day per person - Double occupancy (2 persons per room)
  •  $13.33/day per person - Single occupancy (1 person per room)

 

Reservation Fee:

Beginning this season, we will be charging a reservation fee for all people arriving on or after November 1st 2007.  The reservation fee is $150 and nonrefundable.  Upon arrival at the EDGE, your reservation fee will be directly counted towards your move-in fees.  We accept cashier's checks, personal checks, money orders, and all major credit cards (Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Discover).

Furnishings: Typical rooms are furnished with beds (twin to king size depending on room occupancy), end tables, desks, private bathroom and televisions.

Move-In Fees: Upon move in, we require a $150 deposit (prepaid reservation fee counts toward your deposit), a $50 non-refundable administrative fee, and the first 2 weeks rent. We will take cash, check, traveler's checks, credit card, or money orders. (Your housing reservation fee will be applied to your move in fees.)

Amenities: Free cable hook-up, utilities included, pay phones available (personal lines may be set up through Qwest for a fee), coin-operated laundry facilities, employee lounge, 2 minute walk to the lifts, free internet access on lobby computers, free wireless access in the lobby, short walk to the athletic club, village shops and restaurants.

Things to keep in mind: Storage is very limited, so please pack accordingly. Parking is limited. Residents with cars must park off site and shuttle to the E.D.G.E.

How to Apply: Fill out the application on the website. After sending in the application, you should hear back from us within a week about your housing status. Please do not fill out the application until you have secured full time employment with Copper Mountain .  Applications for the 07/08 winter will be accepted and reviewed beginning Aug 15, 2007.

Parking: Parking will be very limited for the 07/08 Winter Season.  Residents with cars will need to park offsite and shuttle to the EDGE.  More information will be made available regarding winter parking regulations by 10/15/07. 

 


Some things to know about 2007 Summer Housing

Parking!
In the summer, permits can be obtained to park in the Beeler lot.  All employee cars parked in the Beeler lot MUST have the permit displayed, cars without permits will be towed at the owner’s expense.  Due to Copper’s summer event schedule, some parking lots, including but not limited to Beeler will be closed.   During these events, employees are to park in the North Alpine lot.  This parking policy is subject to change.
