Location: The Barn/Catalyst Terrain Park -
Open for participants aged 10-18 and will include the complete summer camp offering with counselors and all Copper activities. A typical day during summer camp will include skiing or riding at Copper's summer version of the Catalyst terrain park, Barn sessions throughout the day and night (with access to Snowflex ramps, foam pits, trampolines, spring floors and indoor skateboard features), and many additional recreational activities including skate tours, rock climbing, rafting, music, hiking and more. Courage Classic

The 20th Annual Children's Hospital Courage Classic returns to Copper for three consecutive, fun-filled days of cycling over three Rocky Mountain passes at the height of summer. Thousands of riders hit the roads from Leadville to Summit County and back, for a 157-mile ride, encompassing backcountry roads, challenging climbs and as always, picturesque views, all in an effort to raise money for the Children’s Hospital in Denver.
Copper Triangle Bicycle Tour

The famous Copper Triangle has long been considered one of Colorado’s classic alpine road rides. Graced with 78 miles of breathtaking scenery, gorgeous roads and three challenging climbs (including Fremont Pass, Tennessee Pass and Vail Pass), the Copper Triangle exemplifies cycling in the Colorado Rockies. The 2009 ride works in partnership with the Davis Phinney Foundation to raise funds for Parkinson’s disease research.
Guitar Town Guitar Clinic

Learn guitar moves right from a Guitar Town performer. The interactive Guitar Town Guitar Clinic with Pete Huttlinger is a workshop full of performances, enabling students to see first-hand what he is able to do with 6 strings and some wood. The workshop includes 4 nights lodging, 1 ½ day seminar, continental breakfast and snacks during the sessions, opportunity to perform in the Guitar Town Showcase on West Lake Stage Friday night, and also includes the Saturday and Sunday guitar workshops, concerts and other festival activities. Three free days of the world’s best guitarists come together at Copper for the 5th annual Guitar Town festival, featuring free guitar workshops on Saturday and Sunday, which are hands-on demonstrations open to the public. This year features free live music by: Scott Goldman, Joe Robinson, Led Kaapana, Preston Reed, Laurence Juber, Pete Huttlinger, John Jorgenson, Tommy Emmanuel, Mark Selby, Marty Stuart, Mick Taylor and The Players with Sol Philcox.
MINIs in the Mountains

The MINI Coopers return to Copper in 2009 for the 4th annual rally of both new and classic MINIs. These unique autos motor through the high alpine roads with several organized drives planned each day. Through enthusiastic attendance by many MINI owners and their families from across the country, MINIs in the Mountains has been called one of the best MINI enthusiast events.
Mountain Home and Outdoor Expo

In conjunction with Guitar Town, Copper is proud to host the Mountain Home & Outdoor Expo, presented by the Summit County Builder’s Association, showcasing the region’s best designers, builders and green practices. With 120+ exhibitors that cater to your home and outdoor lifestyle, presentations will range from cooking tips/ideas, and the most recent green practices, to pet training and remolding tips. Make sure to bring at least 3 non-perishable food items to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win great door prizes. US Half Marathon

The Copper Mountain US Race Series Half Marathon returns for a third year of competition. In addition to the half marathon through the scenic Rocky Mountains, runners can test their skills with the family-style 12k run, 5k walk and the kids MaraFun. The exhilarating course starts and finishes in the heart of the Village at Copper and has a little something for every level of runner. The Copper event has come to be known as one of the toughest and highest elevation half marathons in the U.S.
Copper Cup

The Copper Cup is a part of the Mountain States Cup Championship Series, which is a NORBA (National Off-Road Bicycle Association) and USAC (USA Cycling) sanctioned series. The Mountain States Cup (MSC) is the largest full-discipline (endurance and gravity) race series in the country. It is rider owned and operated and is nationally recognized for its strong junior and beginner programs. It also draws World-Cup caliber athletes that are drawn to the challenging courses and great Colorado atmosphere.

Copper Criteriums and Fall Colors Ride
