Rocky Mountain Series

The Rocky Mountain Series kicks off with the first events of the competition season GS and Slalom. The USASA Copper Mountain Series, the largest and longest running amateur snowboard series in North America, celebrates 22 years of amateur competition. Copper is proud to host the 2009 USASA Nationals. Copper Series events take place throughout the season. REGISTRATION ONLINE ONLY

Registration:

  • Online Registration closes at midnight the Wednesday evening before an event
  • There will be NO REGISTRATION available on the day of the event. Absolutely NO EXCEPTION to this rule!Click here to Register

Bibs:

  • Competitors must purchase their bib for $20. This bib will be used for the entire season and is yours to keep! If you loose your bib and need to purchase a replacement the charge will be $40.
  • Bibs will be available for purchase ($20) from 8:00 am thru 8:45 am the day of the event upstairs at Jacks in Copper One. (location subject to change)

Event Times:

  • Practice / Course Inspection 8:30 am thru 9:30 am at venue
  • Mandatory riders briefing at the top of the course 9:45 am
  • Competition start time 10:00 am
  • Awards 3:30 pm in Burning Stones Plaza * Schedule time may vary
  • Results are posted in the window at Camp Hale. Protest period expires 15 minutes after the results are posted.

Other Information:

  • Freestyle fields will be divided into two groups with Group 1 competing in the Halfpipe on Saturday and Slopestyle on Sunday. Group 2 will be competing Slopestyle on Saturday and in the Halfpipe on Sunday.
  • Giant Slalom, Slalom & Boardercross fields will be open to all CompGroups
  • All Competitors must be Current USASA Members. Competitors must enter a valid / current USASA Membership number at time of online event registration or they will not be added to the start list and not allowed to compete.
